I have been a Duder for the last 3 years after discovering the store in Marlow. Since then, I've recruited a few other staff and patients into the S&D community.
When I asked for the scarves to be sent to our day unit, I couldn't begin to imagine how well they'd be received.
The patients are often scared and apprehensive about starting treatment. They are given a scarf on their new patient assessment, and generally, they come to their first treatment wearing their superpowers.
The scarves help keep the ladies warm when they are having scalp cooling treatment to prevent hair loss, or even just to provide some comfort and much needed superpowers for their visit.
The patients that come to our unit are incredibly brave and inspiring. It's lovely to be able to give something to them, explaining the ethos of the brand... and usually adding to the Scamp & Dude community!
