At Scamp & Dude we are committed to the maintaining the trust and privacy of our customers. In particular, we want you to know we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. It’s just not our style. But just in case you want some assurance in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we might collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

WHAT INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

In running and maintaining our business, we may collect and process the following data about you:

Information provided by you, for example, personal details when you register for information, enter a competition or make a purchase.

We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or location based information.

WHY WE NEED IT

We need to know your personal data so that we can provide you with the products you have requested. We will not collect any data that we do not need in order to provide and oversee this request.

WHAT WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO DO WITH IT

As part of the registration process for our mailing list we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, Klaviyo, to deliver our newsletter. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

In order to make certain services available to you, we may need to share your personal data with some of our service partners. This may include delivery partners to make sure goods you order through the website get to you.

We only allows its service providers to handle your personal data when we have confirmed that they apply appropriate data protection and security controls.

STORING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In operating our business via Scamp & Dude website, your data is processed by our staff in the UK. We do not provide our own IT servers. However, no third party shall have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

Obviously we do our utmost to ensure that our server hosts are secure and fully accredited. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any illegal breaches that may occur.

STORAGE OF PAYMENT DETAILS

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

TEXT MESSAGING

You may elect to receive text messages from us. When you sign up to receive text messages, we will send you information about promotional offers and more

Text Message services are provided on an “AS IS” basis. Data obtained from you in connection with any Text Message services may include your cell phone number, your provider’s name and the date, time and content of your text messages. We may use this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy to contact you and to provide the services you request from us.   •  Along with the foregoing, each statement of terms and conditions required by these Terms for any entities operating in, or interacting with end users in, Québec, Canada, must also include (i) a notice that end users may select a preferred language of French or English for all text messages, and (ii) instructions for end users on how to switch their preferred language at any time. In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.
