Jo Tutchener-Sharp launched Scamp & Dude in 2016 after being separated from her children during a lengthy stay in hospital undergoing brain surgery. Jo was determined to give back, and create a brand that helps children feel more secure when apart from their loved ones.
Our colourful jumper range is infused with kindness and superpowers, being more than just a fashion brand, for every superhero sleep buddy that we sell, we donate another to any child who has lost a parent or who is seriously ill themselves. The brand slogan ‘a Superhero has my back’ reminds kids that there is always someone watching over them and the ‘Lightning Bolt Superpower Button’ is always featured on our garments to give those who wear them that burst of superpowers.

Keeping your colourful jumpers in good condition
To keep your knits in tip top condition, we would advise using a wool or gentle cycle with a delicate spin only. If you don’t have a gentle or wool cycle on your washing machine, we would recommend hand washing only. Due to the wool content in this knit, you may see fuzzy little balls forming called pilling. This is a natural occurrence in more luxurious, high quality yarns like wool and cashmere. These can be tackled with a pilling comb or de-bobbler.
