We’re super excited to announce our next Super Scarf collaboration with legendary British model, presenter and founder of Bath Fashion Festival, Jade Parfitt. For every Super Scarf sold, we donate another to a woman with cancer, offering both comfort and support – almost like a blanket with superpowers. With over 50,000 scarves already donated, we couldn’t wait to work with Jade for our next collab and welcome her as part of our mission.
Jade:
“I'm the kind of person that will always have a scarf in my bag, even if it's a nice warm day. I think a beautiful scarf like this looks gorgeous over your dress, but also it looks great with a beautiful trouser suit in the winter. So for me, scarves are everyday.
I have been a customer of Scamp & Dude for years. One of my favourite denim jumpsuits is Scamp & Dude. I’m in the midst of planning the first ever Bath Fashion Festival. Scamp & Dude were one of the brands on my list that I really wanted to get involved. When I got through to Jo, we just felt a really natural connection. I literally said, I know how much you love leopard print, because I love leopard print, and this is why this is going to be a very easy collaboration for me.”
As a lover of blues, Jade’s design was easily chosen: “Why not choose a blue leopard print scarf with these gorgeous little pom-poms?”
A note from our founder, Jo.
“Jade contacted me to see if Scamp & Dude would like to get involved with Bath Fashion Festival, which she's running. And we had such a great chat. She was so lovely. And, obviously, she is an iconic supermodel. So, the thought of working with her was very exciting. And she said she'd love to help support our charity work in some way. We worked on a scarf together and I absolutely love the colours she chose. I think it's really beautiful. It matches her eyes as well. She looks amazing in it.
The fact that one of these scarves is given to a woman starting chemotherapy for everyone sold is so special, and because of our community supporting what we do, we've now donated over 50,000. These are given out to women as if they’re superpower infused comfort blankets to wrap themselves up in when they're starting chemotherapy, it’s just so magical.”
