Ever wondered what goes into the fabrics we use and how they feel? Read on…
It’s important that our clothes feel as good as they look. We’ve worked hard to find better, more considered fabrics, with most of our dresses made with 100% EcoVero Viscose – a sustainable Viscose with the lowest environmental impact – where the viscose fibres have been obtained from sustainable wood and pulp and come from certified and controlled sources.
Did you know that depending on how it’s made, will alter the feel of the fabric? Throughout our dress collections, we use different finishes to give either a more fluid, silk-like finish, or a more structured crepe-like finish. Here’s the breakdown to help you choose the right dress for you…
Did you know that depending on how it’s made, will alter the feel of the fabric? Throughout our dress collections, we use different finishes to give either a more fluid, silk-like finish, or a more structured crepe-like finish. Here’s the breakdown to help you choose the right dress for you…
Viscose Crepe
Made with EcoVero Viscose with slightly more structure than Spun Viscose. The Viscose Crepe finish is textured and has only a small amount of stretch to it; this means it will require a light iron after being laundered to retain its original shape.
Spun Viscose
A lightweight and super breathable Viscose made with EcoVero that’s more fluid and has a lighter finish than our Viscose Crepe.
Viscose Rayon
Made with EcoVero Viscose, these dresses have a soft, sheen-like shine and a slinky, easy-to-move finish.
Cotton
Our Cotton dresses are made using responsibly sourced cotton. Our cotton Dobby fabric has a textured woven finish to it to give it its ‘spotty’ appearance.
Jersey
The majority of our loungewear is made with organic cotton to ensure it’s super soft and super easy to wear for day-long comfort.
Denim
Our jeans collection is all made with responsibly sourced cotton and our laundry process is carefully monitored to ensure our denim has the lowest environmental impact we can achieve.
Recycled plastic bottles
Our Weekender bags are made from 23 (330ml) plastic bottles, previously destined for landfill.
